Chocolate Frog Cards

Here are the Chocolate Frog Cards! They took a long time to make, but they were worth it. I took the images from the Chocolate Frog Cards you earn on the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets computer game. Somebody uploaded those, and someone else uploaded the Chocolate Frog Card templates. Here you go! There will eventually be 100.

Print on card stock, and (again), if the sizing doesn't fit the Chocolate Frog Boxes, try opening them with Paintbrush or resizing them.

  1. Will you be making any of the other cards? I've just started reading the Harry Potter series to my 5 yr. old and though it would be a great idea to give her a card after each chapter. I love these. Thanks for sharing them.

    1. I'm glad you like them! I haven't made any new ones in a while. There are 198 chapters and an epilogue in the books. Unfortunately, there are not that many cards. The cards I got are from one of the Harry Potter computer games. If there were 200, I'd totally oblige. I like your idea though! I'll try to brainstorm a way you could still use it!

    2. how did you write inside the back of the cards? I've been trying to do it but it keeps showing the textbox in microsoft and it covers up part of the design

  2. Have you ever thoought of making some for the characters? I know it isn't involved in the books but they are a quick and easy extra idea for chocolate frog cards: Harry, Hermione, Luna, Neville etc..

    1. I thought of that. I like making ones that would be in the book. I know, I know, it's anal, but I'm just an OCD fangirl like that.

    2. I read somewhere that after the books ended Harry, Ron, and Hermione got their own cards according to JK Rowling. And based on Harry's behavior, I bet he'd get Snape onto one too.

  3. How did you made these? I tried to make the Dumbledore card but its so hard to get it right in Microsoft Word. Did you use Photoshop? I am trying to make all of the cards (101) for my Harry Potter fan club.

    1. I have a Mac, so I used Paint and Pages (Paint mostly though). Paint is a Mac app. I used different images and just juxtaposed them onto each other. Email me. I'll send you the files I have. Sorry this response took so long! I haven't used this in a while.

    1. Are you able to drag the images onto your desktop to print? That's what I hoped the website would allow people to do. If it doesn't work, I can figure something else out.

  5. Jacqueline: Thank you! Our cards turned out great; my kids loved them!
(I opened an image, left clicked on it, copied, and pasted onto a Word document to print.)

  6. I know you posted the chocolate frog cards years ago, but they are amazing and I really would like to get the entire collection. I have been searching online for the resources to make them, and have been unsuccessful. Do you still have the files for this project by any chance? I'm giving up on my searching attempts.. *sigh*

  7. These are the BEST HP source I have yet found online! You are so talented, and I really appreciate that you share these for free. What an amazing resource this is for any parent of HP-loving children. We are going to visit the Wizarding World of harry Potter in Florida this year, and will not be able to afford the store-bought chocolate frogs. I'm making my own to bring for my children, and had been looking for printable cards to put in the boxes. These are top-notch! Thank you again for taking the time to create these!!
